Meet Our Amazing Doctors

Dr. Kelly Rew
Practice Owner & Medical DirectorFrom a young age, Dr. Rew knew she was destined to be a veterinarian. Raised in Tampa, Florida, she spent her childhood surrounded by Shelties and Labs and was often heard saying, “I’m going to be a doggy doctor when I grow up.” That childhood dream has not only been realized, it has evolved into a lifelong mission.
Dr. Rew graduated with her undergraduate and veterinary degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). Over the past 15 years, she has practiced in a variety of settings across Florida, beginning at Countryside Animal Hospital in Gainesville, then at Fernandina Beach Animal Clinic on Amelia Island, and most recently at Palm City Animal Medical Center. Each of these experiences shaped her clinical skills, her leadership philosophy, and her vision for the kind of practice she wanted to one day build.
"Every pet has a story. Every client has a voice. And every life that walks through our doors deserves to be met with grace. That’s not just our name - it’s our promise."
Opening Live with Grace Animal Hospital is the culmination of that vision, a dream realized after years of dedication to both her patients and her profession. The name Live with Grace holds a special meaning, inspired by the middle names of her two daughters, Olivia and Grace. It is both a nod to her girls - Liv and Grace - and a guiding philosophy for how she believes we should all live our lives, pets and people alike: gracefully and with joy.
As the founder and medical director, Dr. Rew leads with empathy, transparency, and collaboration. She believes that veterinary care is a partnership between doctor and client, with clear communication and mutual trust at the heart of every decision.
Her clinical interests cover every life stage, with an emphasis on preventive care from early development through senior wellness. She is passionate about preserving quality of life, managing chronic conditions, and helping families navigate their pet’s healthcare journey with confidence. She is highly skilled in advanced soft tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostic ultrasound, and clinical nutrition. Dr. Rew holds certifications in Fear Free medicine, Nutrition, and Senior Pet Care - each reflecting her commitment to gentle, individualized care.
A dedicated mentor and leader, Dr. Rew loves empowering her team, supporting and educating pet owners, and inspiring future veterinarians. She takes pride in guiding new graduates as they grow in both skill and confidence, fostering a culture of learning, compassion, and professional development.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Rew enjoys spending time with her family, including her two daughters, Madeleine and Peyton, and their beloved pets. She loves exercising, being outdoors, exploring local farmers markets, cooking, and sharing life’s simple joys with those she loves.

Dr. Elizabeth Jolin
Associate VeterinarianFrom the moment she began volunteering in animal shelters as a teenager, Dr. Jolin knew that veterinary medicine would become her life’s work. After graduating with honors in Pre-Veterinary Animal Science from Oklahoma State University, she went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2006.
Dr. Jolin began her career in Gainesville before settling in Palm City, where she has cared for pets and their families for the past 15 years. Her compassion for community animals has also led her to provide ongoing care for local rescue organizations, an expression of her belief that every pet deserves comfort, dignity, and a chance at a healthy life.
Dr. Jolin’s approach to medicine blends science with empathy and balance. Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture since 2013, she thoughtfully integrates traditional Chinese medicine with modern therapies to promote healing and wellness. She is currently completing her Canine Rehabilitation certification at Chi University, expanding her ability to help pets recover mobility, manage pain, and enjoy active, comfortable lives, particularly her beloved senior patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Jolin enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children, and their collection of pets. When she’s not at the hospital, you’ll likely find her baking, working in her garden, or relaxing with a good book.
For Dr. Jolin, veterinary medicine is about more than treating illness; it’s about building trust, improving quality of life, and supporting the bond between people and their pets at every stage of care.
“Healing begins with understanding, not just the medicine, but the heart behind it.” — Dr. Elizabeth Jolin
